During December 2025, Mykolaichenko developed a configurable numberOfResults parameter for the Bedrock Knowledge Base within the promptfoo/promptfoo repository. This feature allows users to specify how many data chunks are retrieved, providing greater flexibility and enabling performance tuning based on application needs. Mykolaichenko implemented the solution using TypeScript, applying full stack development skills and a focus on robust testing to ensure maintainability. The work addressed issue #6738 and was delivered as a clear, well-documented commit. While no major bugs were fixed during this period, the contribution demonstrated depth in backend feature design and attention to user experience and code quality.
