Worked on stabilizing the build environment for the wire-avs repository, focusing on resolving persistent build failures that impacted both local and CI workflows. Addressed a known issue by downgrading the Rust toolchain to version 1.71.1 and corrected build directory ownership and user ID mismatches to ensure proper Linux permissions. These changes restored reliable builds and unblocked downstream validation and testing. The work demonstrated skills in build engineering, DevOps, and shell scripting, with a strong emphasis on debugging build systems and managing CI workflows. No new features were added, but critical bugs affecting the development pipeline were effectively resolved.
