Worked on the is-a-dev/register repository to deliver a centralized configuration for Marcitech, focusing on standardizing ownership and DNS data management. Developed a marcitech.json file using JSON to define owner and DNS records, streamlining configuration management and reducing inconsistencies. Addressed DNS resolution issues by correcting CNAME formatting, specifically removing unnecessary protocol prefixes and trailing backslashes, which improved deployment reliability. This approach enhanced the overall workflow by minimizing DNS-related regressions and enabling faster onboarding for new configurations. The work demonstrated attention to detail in configuration management and a methodical approach to troubleshooting, leveraging skills in JSON and deployment process optimization.
