Simon Mueller developed end-to-end European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) integration for the a-sit-plus/valera repository, enabling compliant cross-border healthcare credential support. He designed and implemented a new EHIC data model, updated adapters, and built UI components for credential viewing and detail display using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Simon migrated date handling to LocalDate to improve reliability and consistency, and introduced the EhicRepresentation model to streamline data management. His work included targeted refactoring for code clarity and maintainability, as well as establishing a foundation for localization. This feature-focused effort enhanced data consistency and prepared the codebase for future UI improvements.
