During May 2025, contributed a targeted feature to the microsoft/fluentui-apple repository by enhancing the SearchBar component to support customization of the keyboard return key type. This update, implemented in Swift, allows developers to tailor the return key behavior to better suit various input scenarios, thereby improving user experience flexibility in iOS applications. The work included adding an example to the demo app that demonstrates the use of the 'done' return key type, making it easier for others to adopt and validate the feature. The contribution focused on UI component development and leveraged core iOS development skills throughout the process.
