During May 2025, Nachito focused on improving the maintainability and developer experience of the tidalcycles/strudel repository by addressing documentation-related issues. He refactored JavaScript code and enhanced documentation formatting, converting JSDoc-style comments to single-line comments and correcting typos throughout core modules and theme files. This work resolved autocompletion gaps in editor tooling, particularly for the density, shuffle, and scramble features, making the codebase more accessible for new contributors. By standardizing comment styles and updating feature descriptions, Nachito reduced onboarding time and improved code readability, demonstrating a methodical approach to code refactoring and documentation within a collaborative open-source environment.
