Worked on expanding localization support in the th-ch/youtube-music repository by delivering Galician translations for the YouTube Music UI. Focused on internationalization and translation, the work involved translating menus, buttons, and messages using JSON and establishing a scalable workflow with Weblate. This approach enabled easier onboarding for future contributors and streamlined the translation process for additional languages. The initial Galician localization covered over a fifth of the UI strings, directly improving accessibility for Galician-speaking users. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on building a foundation for broader i18n and localization initiatives within the project.
