The fix ensures the regressionAdjustmentSettings.enabled flag is respected, simplifies the regressionAdjustmentEnabled toggle, and validates that days is non-null. This work is tracked in commit 69d129744666477ade9cf39d7cb29646394726e5 (fix(api): respect explicit regressionAdjustmentSettings.enabled=false on fact-metric create (#6003)). Impact: Increases reliability for dashboards and analyses that rely on regression adjustments, reducing misconfigurations and API errors and enabling more consistent regression modeling across users.
