Nadatar Ek developed a unified SQL query execution pathway for the SEMOSS/Semoss repository, focusing on secure, governance-driven data access. Leveraging Java for backend development, Nadatar implemented the SqlQueryReactor, which parses raw SQL queries to identify their type and applies permission validation before execution. The solution delegates execution to existing reactors, ensuring established governance protocols are reused and reducing code duplication. By incorporating result limiting and explicit commit handling for data modification queries, Nadatar enhanced both safety and predictability in database interactions. This work demonstrates depth in SQL parsing, security implementation, and backend architecture, addressing traceability and permission management challenges.

October 2025 Monthly Summary for SEMOSS/Semoss focused on expanding safe, governance-driven data access through a new SQL query execution pathway. Delivered a unified reactor-based approach to processing raw SQL with permission checks, improving security, traceability, and developer ergonomics.
