During November 2024, Nahid Ferdous contributed to the microsoft/cpp_client_telemetry repository by enhancing the Privacy Guard Module’s validation and integration processes. She developed and integrated new unit tests in C++ to expand test coverage for privacy guard functionality, focusing on robust validation of privacy-related telemetry features. Utilizing CMake for build system updates, she aligned the lib/modules submodule with the latest PG unified schema, ensuring schema consistency and integration readiness. Although no major bugs were addressed, her work improved the reliability and risk profile of privacy guard releases, demonstrating depth in C++ development, build systems, and unit testing within a complex codebase.
