Worked on enhancing Japanese localization for the Cacti/cacti repository, focusing on delivering natural and accurate translations across the core application. Utilized PHP and PO files within a Weblate-based workflow to update phrasing, formatting, and translator metadata, ensuring that Japanese users experience improved clarity and maintainability. The approach included careful revision of UI strings and collaboration with cross-functional teams to refine the localization process. No bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a targeted effort on feature delivery. This work strengthened the internationalization and translation infrastructure, reducing the risk of misinterpretation and supporting ongoing updates for the Japanese user base.
