Worked on maintaining documentation stability for the YosysHQ/yosys repository by reverting a recent change that grouped commands in the reference documentation. Using skills in build systems and code reversion, addressed a documentation bug by removing the docs/source/cmd directory and associated Makefile changes, thereby restoring the previous documentation structure. This approach ensured compatibility with existing tooling and preserved the integrity of the documentation build pipeline. The work involved careful management of C++, Makefile, and Python components to avoid introducing risk to the core codebase, focusing on minimal-impact changes that maintained alignment with the prior release state and user expectations.
