Over a three-month period, contributed to rungalileo/galileo-python and rungalileo/docs-official by building backend features and improving developer experience. Developed a Prompt Template Management System with CRUD endpoints and collaborator controls, and updated the OpenAPI specification to streamline client integration using Python and YAML. Enhanced logging and telemetry by implementing an Agent Control bridge, enabling ingestion of control spans for improved observability. Additionally, improved SDK integration guidance by adding practical code snippets and documentation in Markdown, clarifying usage patterns for LLM and tool calls. The work focused on production readiness, reliability, and reducing onboarding time for developers integrating Galileo APIs.
June 2026: Delivered a Documentation Enhancement in rungalileo/docs-official by introducing SDK decorator usage guidance for LLM and tool calls, including practical code snippets to wrap calls with the SDK decorator. This clarified integration patterns and reduced onboarding time for developers. A targeted doc fix also updated the control docs to include examples (#930). Overall, improved developer guidance, faster integration, and reduced support load for SDK usage.

April 2026 focused on production readiness and developer experience for Galileo Python. Delivered two major capabilities: a Prompt Template Management System with CRUD endpoints and collaborator controls, and a production-ready OpenAPI URL in the API spec to streamline client integrations. Also addressed critical stability issues by fixing filter schema patches and the production URL resolution, reducing risk and support overhead. These changes improve client onboarding, collaboration across teams, and reliability of Galileo's API surface. Technical momentum included API design for templates and versions, collaborator management, and aligning OpenAPI specs with production endpoints.
