Worked on the signalapp/Signal-iOS repository to enhance the user experience by addressing a specific issue in the ConversationInputTextView component. Focused on improving UI reliability and traceability, the developer implemented a targeted bug fix using Swift and iOS development best practices. The solution involved optimizing layout calculations by short-circuiting content-size checks when the input field was empty, which prevented unnecessary scrolling and reduced CPU usage during typing. All changes were clearly documented with a precise commit reference, supporting maintainability and future audits. This work demonstrated attention to both user interface design and code quality within the iOS development environment.
