Worked on the mozilla-mobile/firefox-ios repository to upgrade the test infrastructure, focusing on improving reliability and maintainability for iOS development. Introduced a new testing framework and developed the BrowserScreen class to encapsulate browser actions, which streamlined the structure of OpeningScreenTests. This refactoring enhanced test readability and modularity, laying the groundwork for faster test iteration and higher-quality releases. The work was implemented using Swift and leveraged UI testing best practices to ensure maintainable code. By modularizing browser actions and clarifying test structure, the changes addressed long-term maintainability and set a foundation for more robust automated testing workflows.
