Worked on the moltbot/moltbot repository to enhance the reliability of media processing by developing the Outbound Media Filename Cleaning feature. This update focused on stripping internal UUID suffixes from outbound media filenames, ensuring filenames are deterministic and reducing downstream processing errors. The implementation involved updating the media loading path to utilize a new extraction method and adding a regression test to validate the revised logic. Using Node.js and TypeScript within a full stack development context, the work improved both the stability and debuggability of the media pipeline, addressing a specific issue and contributing to a more robust handling of outbound media files.
