Worked on the unslothai/unsloth repository to resolve a critical macOS bug that left the Send button disabled in the composer after switching input methods. Addressed the issue by implementing immediate recovery paths in React front end code, ensuring the Send button was re-enabled on the first non-IME keystroke or when the input lost focus. Enhanced reliability by adding regression tests and Playwright automation to verify recovery within a strict 1500ms window. Maintained code quality through pre-commit hook fixes and continuous integration improvements. Utilized TypeScript, Python, and testing frameworks to deliver a robust and maintainable solution within one month.
