Developed a core scripting enhancement for the web-infra-dev/midscene repository, introducing dynamic variable interpolation in YAML scripting to streamline CI/CD pipeline configuration. Leveraging TypeScript and YAML scripting skills, implemented a mechanism that allows steps within YAML scripts to reference results from previous steps using a defined syntax. This approach enabled dynamic value assignment and improved error handling by surfacing configuration issues early when undefined variables are encountered. The enhancement reduced manual updates and maintenance overhead, promoting modular script design and reusability. The work focused on improving the flexibility and maintainability of YAML-based pipelines within full stack development workflows.
