During December 2025, Blaztar developed a Health Check Plain Text Response feature for the keboola/keboola-as-code repository, focusing on backend improvements using Go. The work involved implementing logic to detect health check requests and return plain text responses instead of HTML, optimizing the system for monitoring and alerting compatibility. By differentiating health probes from regular traffic, Blaztar reduced payload sizes and improved observability for automated systems. The solution leveraged Go’s strengths in backend development, resulting in more efficient health status parsing and streamlined integration with external monitoring tools. This contribution addressed a targeted need with a focused, well-scoped engineering approach.
