During November 2024, Xiangxuan Liu developed cross-shell completion support for WezTerm within the lizongying/homebrew-cask repository. Focusing on Homebrew Cask integration and shell scripting, Liu implemented and packaged shell completion scripts for Zsh, Bash, and Fish, targeting the WezTerm@nightly release. The solution installs completion files into the correct system directories, enabling seamless autocompletion for end users and enhancing command-line usability. Liu’s work adhered to repository standards and prepared the feature for broader adoption, emphasizing quality and maintainability. The project was delivered in Ruby and shell script, with attention to clean packaging and integration rather than bug fixes or new features.
