During August 2025, Naynek developed a comprehensive suite of automated API tests for the openchlai/ai repository, focusing on ensuring robust backend quality. Leveraging Python, FastAPI, and Pytest, Naynek implemented unit tests that covered a wide range of API endpoints, including call session management, classification, NER, summarization, translation, queue operations, and Whisper transcription. The test suite utilized mocking to simulate both success and failure scenarios, enabling thorough validation of API behavior. This work established a strong quality baseline for the project, improved CI readiness, and facilitated earlier detection of regressions, reflecting a deep and methodical approach to backend testing.
