Worked on the microsoft/sonic-gnmi-dev repository to deliver backend integration for GNOI System API reboot capabilities. Developed support for Reboot, RebootStatus, and CancelReboot operations by connecting the system API layer to a backend service using Redis DB notification channels. Refactored the existing system API logic into a dedicated Go module, gnoi_system.go, to centralize reboot-related functionality and improve maintainability. Added comprehensive unit tests to validate new API paths and backend interactions, ensuring reliability and correctness. Utilized Go and Python alongside technologies such as Redis, D-Bus, and gRPC, with a focus on robust backend integration and automated test coverage.
