Enhanced code quality by refactoring Go code, applying linting, and cleaning up logging in PXE-related components to improve error handling and maintainability without altering runtime behavior. Addressed a security concern by tightening file permissions for sensitive installer assets, changing access modes to align with security best practices and reduce potential exposure. Leveraged Go development skills and a strong understanding of file permissions to deliver changes that improved both the stability and security posture of the installer, supporting future maintainability and compliance.
