Neeta Shinde enhanced deployment reliability for the ministryofjustice/payforlegalaid repository by delivering two core features focused on Kubernetes and database workflows. She implemented liveness and readiness probes in Kubernetes deployments, along with a post-deployment pipeline check to ensure pods were running and at least one was ready, improving observability and error handling. Using Shell and YAML scripting, Neeta refactored the database deployment process, removing unused volume mounts and strengthening Liquibase execution with pre-change validation and robust error handling. These changes increased deployment safety, reduced rollout risk, and enabled faster incident response, demonstrating depth in CI/CD, DevOps, and database management practices.
