Worked on the causify-ai/helpers repository to establish foundational scaffolding for development scripts and enhance data ingestion reliability. Introduced a clear package structure by adding initialization files, enabling scalable development and reducing the risk of future regressions. Addressed a critical data handling issue by refining the execute_insert_query function to convert float64 values to standard float types, ensuring compatibility with database systems and preventing insertion errors. Leveraged Python for both package structuring and database interaction, with a focus on robust data handling practices. The work laid essential groundwork for improved reliability and developer velocity in the project’s data pipeline and script development processes.
