Neharoy Roy developed a programmatic API reference for estimator and scitype types in the sktime repository, focusing on improving documentation consistency and API discoverability. Using reStructuredText and API development skills, Neharoy created a dedicated documentation file that catalogs all estimator and object scitypes, and updated existing references to guide users to the new content. The approach mirrored established documentation patterns in sktime, ensuring reliable navigation and maintainability. This work addressed onboarding challenges by reducing the time required to locate estimator information, and demonstrated a methodical, documentation-driven engineering process with a clear focus on usability and alignment with project standards.
