During March 2025, Neo Cgoing enhanced user experience and data presentation across two repositories, langchain-ai/fullstack-chat-client and modelcontextprotocol/inspector. Neo developed a reusable JsonView component in React and TypeScript, enabling collapsible sections and syntax highlighting for JSON data throughout the inspector application. In the chat client, Neo improved the UI by dynamically adjusting message bubble widths and implemented a fix to prevent duplicate submissions during IME composition, addressing issues for users typing in languages requiring input methods. Neo also centralized JSON formatting in forms, streamlining editing workflows. The work demonstrated thoughtful UI/UX development and attention to reliability using CSS and JavaScript.
