Worked on enhancing localization and internationalization for the th-ch/youtube-music repository, focusing on Czech and Slovak language support. Consolidated all Czech UI string translations and advanced Slovak coverage, using JSON for translation files and Weblate for translation management. Updated the Pear Desktop player’s UI label to improve accessibility and ensure contextually accurate multilingual support. The work involved aligning new i18n strings with user-friendly context, laying the groundwork for broader localization coverage. Emphasized translation management and i18n best practices, resulting in a more accessible and usable interface for Czech and Slovak users without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
