During October 2025, Eneo Chatyy focused on improving the FreeCAD/FreeCAD repository by addressing a critical issue in the FreeTurntable orbit rotation logic. Using C++ and applying principles of GUI development and software engineering, Eneo corrected the vertical-axis constraint within the FreeTurntable orbit style, ensuring that rotation and spin methods behaved as intended. This targeted fix resolved issue #24861, directly enhancing the stability and predictability of 3D orbit interactions for users. The work demonstrated careful debugging of GUI rotation logic and precise code modification, resulting in a more accurate and user-friendly experience for FreeCAD’s 3D modeling environment.
