Worked on enhancing code quality and maintainability for the Nordix/baremetal-operator and Nordix/metal3-ipam repositories by introducing and enforcing linting standards. Focused on Go and YAML, the work included enabling the errname linter in baremetal-operator’s CI pipeline and standardizing error type suffixes to improve error handling consistency. In metal3-ipam, enabled the GCI linter and cleaned up import statements to streamline code formatting. These efforts improved code consistency, reduced the risk of runtime errors, and accelerated CI feedback, making onboarding easier for new contributors. Emphasized code linting, configuration management, and error handling throughout the development process.
