Worked on enhancing HTML content parsing in the peterwilsoncc/wordpress-develop and WordPress/WordPress repositories by replacing regex-based URL extraction with the WP_HTML_Tag_Processor. This approach improved the reliability of URL detection and ensured that encoded URLs, such as those containing HTML entities, were correctly decoded during parsing. Focused on aligning the implementation with WordPress core HTML processing standards, the work increased maintainability and reduced the risk of missed URLs in content. Utilized PHP for development, applying skills in API development, HTML parsing, and WordPress development to deliver a more robust and standardized solution for content URL handling.
