During March 2026, Neurocis developed Emby Favorites Management for the music-assistant/server repository, enabling users to browse and edit favorites across tracks, artists, albums, and playlists within the Emby provider. Leveraging Python for backend development, Neurocis focused on robust API integration and data parsing to streamline personalized content management. The implementation formalized favorites handling through a collaborative pull request, laying the groundwork for scalable expansion. While no major bugs were addressed, minor maintenance supported the new feature’s stability. This work improved user engagement by facilitating faster content discovery and curated experiences, reflecting a focused and well-executed engineering contribution.
