Developed and delivered a new MCP Image Resource Extraction and Display feature for the menloresearch/JanCode repository, focusing on automating the identification and extraction of image resources from server responses. Leveraging full stack development skills and TypeScript, the work involved parsing server responses to detect image blobs and MIME types, then routing the extracted data to the say and pushToolResult paths for immediate UI rendering. This approach streamlined asset visibility and reduced manual intervention in handling image resources, enhancing the end-to-end data flow from backend to frontend. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a stable implementation.
