Worked on the nebius/soperator repository to enhance notification workflows and improve test coverage within a one-month period. Developed features in Go and YAML that enabled the Slurm exporter to include user email information in job data, introducing a configuration toggle to filter out jobs lacking user emails. This adjustment ensured notifications were sent only for jobs with associated user emails, reducing alert noise and increasing data fidelity. Additionally, expanded unit test coverage for the soperator-notifier Helm chart, validating rule rendering logic for various configuration scenarios. Focused on configuration management, DevOps practices, and system monitoring to deliver targeted, maintainable improvements.
