Developed and delivered the Rosé Pine Recast Theme as a standalone extension for the zed-industries/extensions repository, focusing on enhancing syntax highlighting and cross-platform theme consistency. The work involved porting over 20 token-to-color mappings from the VSCode Rosé Pine theme to Zed, removing italics for improved readability, and introducing new theme variants such as Recast Moon and Recast Dawn. The project required expertise in front end development, theme development, and syntax highlighting, utilizing Git for version control and TOML for configuration. The extension was rebranded, migrated, and consolidated for stable distribution, with no major bugs reported during the release.
