Worked on the UoaWDCC/fsae-jobs-board repository to deliver secure backend enhancements focused on user application management. Developed new GET and DELETE API endpoints using LoopBack and TypeScript, enabling users to retrieve and remove only their own job applications. Incorporated per-user authorization checks throughout the application flow to ensure that users could access or delete applications solely associated with job ads they published. Strengthened input validation for the application creation process, improving data integrity and reducing invalid submissions. The work emphasized robust API development and backend security, laying a foundation for scalable and reliable application management within the project’s architecture.
