During May 2025, Engi850 enhanced the UoaWDCC/fsae-jobs-board repository by developing secure backend features focused on user application management. They implemented GET and DELETE API endpoints using LoopBack and TypeScript, ensuring that users could only access or remove applications linked to their own job ads through per-user authorization checks. Engi850 also strengthened input validation for the application creation process, reducing invalid submissions and improving data integrity. While the work was limited to a single feature over one month, it demonstrated a solid understanding of API development and backend security, laying a foundation for more scalable and reliable application workflows.
