Worked on the home-assistant/frontend repository to address a usability issue affecting the Logbook feature. Focused on frontend development using TypeScript, the work involved fixing a bug that prevented users from searching and refreshing logbook entries when live updates were paused, such as during scrolling. The solution ensured that search and refresh functionality remained available regardless of the live update state, improving reliability and user workflow. The fix was validated across typical pause scenarios to confirm consistent access to logbook data. This targeted engineering effort enhanced the overall usability of the logbook, reducing potential support requests related to paused updates.
