Worked on the rclone/rclone repository to expand OneDrive and SharePoint integration by implementing a no-admin mode using the SharePoint v2.0 API endpoint. Developed a configuration-based approach that introduced a tenant_url option, allowing users to access SharePoint and OneDrive resources without requiring admin privileges. This reduced setup complexity for tenants and enabled more flexible deployment scenarios. The work focused on backend development and API integration, leveraging Go for implementation and Markdown for documentation. By decreasing reliance on the Graph API and enabling configuration management, the solution addressed user needs for simplified, permission-light access to Microsoft cloud storage services within rclone.
