Nick Huang developed initial FBOSS agent support for the MINIPACK3BTA platform in the facebook/fboss repository, focusing on establishing platform mapping and SAI-based implementations to enable early hardware-adjacent testing and future feature expansion. He followed the New Platform Support guidelines, ensuring all pre-commit checks, linting, and build validations were completed for the fboss_fake_agent_targets build. Using C++ for both platform development and SAI integration, Nick’s work laid the groundwork for scaling FBOSS coverage to additional MINIPACK hardware. The implementation included a documented test plan and positioned the team for accelerated integration with platform-specific SAI backends in future releases.
