Developed and delivered a programmatic forum topic creation feature for Telegram supergroups within the openclaw/openclaw repository, enabling automated topic management with required permissions and optional customization such as icon color and custom emoji. The work focused on enhancing group organization and discovery by integrating the new topic-create action into the Telegram message adapter, while also improving reliability through targeted fixes and regression tests. Utilized TypeScript for backend development and API integration, ensuring robust handling of messaging flows and maintaining code hygiene. The approach emphasized stability and maintainability, addressing edge cases and refining gateway tooling to support scalable group interactions.
