Developed and contributed a new Subtensor EVM blockchain definition to the wevm/viem repository, enabling Subtensor deployments and testing within the Viem ecosystem. This work involved defining the chain’s native currency and specifying RPC URLs, aligning with Viem’s established chain metadata patterns to ensure consistency and testability. Using TypeScript and leveraging skills in API integration and blockchain development, the implementation expanded Viem’s chain coverage and improved interoperability for Subtensor projects. By reducing integration friction and supporting more realistic testing scenarios, the contribution facilitated easier onboarding for developers working with Subtensor EVM, though no major bug fixes were addressed this month.
