Worked on expanding Snowflake data ingestion capabilities within the datahub-project/datahub repository by adding support for the Sweden-Central Azure region. This involved updating Python-based region mapping constants to align ingestion routing with the latest geography map, ensuring that data pipelines could process information from Northern Europe in compliance with regional requirements. The technical approach focused on minimal, targeted changes to the ingestion region map, emphasizing reliability and maintainability. Leveraged skills in Python, cloud integration, and data ingestion to validate the integration within the datahub pipeline, ultimately enhancing geographic coverage and supporting timely, compliant data processing for customers in Sweden and the Nordics.
