Worked on the IBM/universal-connectors repository to enhance data quality and consistency for downstream analytics and security tools. Addressed a data representation issue by standardizing the output of Not Available values from 'NA' to 'N.A.', directly resolving integration problems with the DynamoDB Guardium filter plugin. This change improved the reliability of data feeds and reduced the risk of misinterpretation in analytics and monitoring systems. Utilized Java and Groovy within a Gradle-based development environment, focusing on plugin development and data normalization. The work strengthened data governance and maintainability by ensuring consistent value representation across the repository’s outputs and integrations.
