During August 2025, Niek focused on backend development for the framer/plugins repository, addressing reliability and data integrity in Airtable synchronization workflows. He resolved a critical bug in the TypeScript codebase by refining the logic that merges inferred fields with existing fields during API integration, which prevented data inconsistencies and reduced the risk of downstream data drift. This work improved the overall quality of data syncing between Framer and Airtable, minimizing the need for manual reconciliation. Niek’s efforts centered on stabilizing the data merge process rather than delivering new features, demonstrating a depth of attention to robust backend engineering and data quality.
