Worked on the LibreNMS repository to enhance the accuracy of event log messages within the polling subsystem. Addressed an issue where a class variable was incorrectly interpolated in log outputs, which previously led to misleading or noisy logs during polling cycles. By correcting the variable handling in PHP-based backend code, improved the reliability and clarity of system event logs, making it easier for teams to monitor and troubleshoot incidents. Demonstrated backend development and logging expertise, focusing on bug fixing and code maintainability.
