During July 2025, Niket Kanoi developed a Product Image Linking Enhancement for the wilson-ecommerce/storefront-product-listing-page repository, focusing on improving image accuracy and navigation within the storefront. Leveraging TypeScript and front end development skills, Niket introduced conditional linking logic using canProductsBeLinked and pcm_allow_product_linking_swatches controls. The implementation evolved through two commits: the first expanded linking to eligible product types, while the second refined the logic to restrict linking to sportswear when explicitly enabled. This targeted approach addressed mislinking issues, stabilized product image display, and established a scalable foundation for future cross-category linking, though no separate bug fixes were recorded.
