
Over a two-month period, contributed to the mpolotsk-akamai/manager repository by delivering CloudPulse navigation improvements and major enhancements to the Alerts feature. Focused on consolidating URL paths, implementing robust default redirects, and aligning end-to-end Cypress tests to improve navigation consistency and test reliability. Enhanced the Alerts experience by introducing confirmation dialogs, optimistic UI updates, an entity-level alert management API, and periodic data refresh, all supported by React and TypeScript. Addressed documentation accuracy and reverted features as needed to maintain routing stability. The work emphasized test-driven development, changelog management, and seamless integration of backend and frontend changes for improved user workflows.
In March 2025, delivered major CloudPulse Alerts enhancements and stabilized the Alerts feature in mpolotsk-akamai/manager. Key features include confirmation dialogs, optimistic UI updates, an entity-level alert management API, periodic refresh, and a new alerts tab with improved payloads. These changes improved alert triage speed, data freshness, and reliability. The work was supported by end-to-end tests and a refetch interval (DI-23778, DI-23817). Additionally, the Database Alerts feature removal was executed to revert feature changes due to routing adjustments, preserving stability and consistency across the product. Business impact: reduced mean time to acknowledge alerts, safer UI changes through optimistic updates, and better alignment with the routing model.
