Worked on enhancing security and reliability of variable storage in the acidanthera/audk repository by implementing authenticated variable storage data format support within MdeModulePkg. This involved developing AuthFindVariableData and extending FindQuestionDefaultSetting to handle both authenticated and non-authenticated storage, enabling secure management of setup variables by the Hii database. The approach laid the foundation for trusted variable workflows in UEFI, improving data integrity and reducing risks of unauthorized access. The work was carried out using C and focused on embedded systems and firmware development, demonstrating depth in low-level security features for firmware environments over the course of the month.
