Worked on targeted maintenance for the mixxxdj/mixxx repository, focusing on improving the reliability of cover art handling during metadata updates. Addressed a bug where cover images failed to reload correctly for single tracks after metadata changes, ensuring that images are properly imported and assigned even when only metadata is updated. This solution preserved data integrity and maintained accurate visual representation in the library. The approach involved careful debugging and minimal, low-risk changes to the C++ and Qt-based metadata and image pipeline, demonstrating attention to code quality and regression prevention while enhancing the user experience during metadata editing workflows.
