Worked on the Digit-Core repository to enhance build reliability and CI efficiency by delivering a build environment stabilization feature. Updated Dockerfiles to use mirrored egovio base images for Maven and JDK, specifically Amazon Corretto and Eclipse Temurin, which improved build consistency and reduced network-related variability during image pulls. This approach aimed to create more deterministic builds and offered potential improvements in CI performance. The work demonstrated skills in containerization, DevOps, and Docker, with a focus on base-image mirroring and CI/CD workflows. No bugs were fixed during this period, and the primary contribution centered on infrastructure and process stability.
